Inda Craig-Galván is a Los Angeles-based playwright and television writer. Plays include THE GREAT JHERI CURL DEBATE (East West Players world premiere), A JUMPING-OFF POINT (Bay Area Playwrights Festival 2022), WELCOME TO MATTESON! (NNPN Showcase 2022), BLACK SUPER HERO MAGIC MAMA (Geffen Playhouse world premiere), A HIT DOG WILL HOLLER (Skylight Theatre/Playwrights’ Arena world premiere), I GO SOMEWHERE ELSE (Playwrights’ Arena world premiere).
Awards include: Kennedy Center Rosa Parks Award, Kesselring Prize, Blue Ink Prize, Jane Chambers Student Award, Jeffry Melnick New Play Award. Inda’s plays have been developed at the Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, Ashland New Play Festival, Ojai Playwrights Conference, JAW, OSF, Orlando Shakes, Geffen Writers Room, East West Playwrights Group, and a few others that won’t fit here. Inda is writing two new commissioned plays with The Old Globe and Round House Theatre.
