INDA CRAIG-GALVÁN

Inda’s plays include Black Super Hero Magic Mama (Eugene O’Neill 2017 National Playwrights Conference, Kennedy Center Rosa Parks Playwriting Award), and I Go Somewhere Else (Humanitas/CTG Semi-Finalist). Her plays have been developed and workshopped at Intiman Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival Black Swan New Play Lab, Playwrights’ Arena New Pages Lab, Skylight Theatre INKubator Series, Trustus Theater Playwrights Festival, Lorraine Hansberry Theatre BATA Reading Series, and Creede Rep/HBMG National Winter Playwrights Retreat.

Inda’s screenplay Fried Catfish received the Grand Jury Prize for Best Screenplay at the Urbanworld Film Festival. Her zombie comedy Are They Dead Yet? was a Scriptapalooza semifinalist and Urbanworld finalist. Her drama pilot, Our Girls, was a 2017 bluecat semifinalist.

Inda received her MFA in Dramatic Writing from University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Arts (May 2017).
