DAN STEELE

Dan Steele is an L.A. based playwright and screenwriter. His recent plays include The Ghost (developed with Moving Arts’ MADlabs Program) and Uptown (work-shopped with Pasadena Playhouse’s HOTHouse Reading Program and at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts).

Dan graduated from Texas A&M University with degrees in Creative Writing and Theater Arts. In 2011, he was honored to be selected as a Warner Bros. TV Workshop Fellows. Since then, TV writing credits include “Gossip Girl,” “Hart of Dixie,” and “Faking It.” He currently has a pilot in development at MTV titled “#blessed” inspired by his childhood experiences being homeschooled and raised as a Jehovah’s Witness. His short film, Miracle, screened at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011 as a winner of Canon’s “Beyond the Still” contest.
