Wayne T. Carr

Has a Bachelors degree in Directing from Frostburg State University(MD) and a Masters in Acting from Penn State. He was the Shakespeare consultant on The Tragedy of Macbeth film starring Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand. Teaches Shakespeare at Hussian College of Los Angeles and teaches Thinking Critically About Film at Art Center School of Design in Pasadena. Wayne has performed as an actor at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Guthrie Theatre, Milwaukee Rep, Yale Rep and more. He has written a one man show which he performed in Edinburgh, Scotland. Wrote his first Pilot script during the beginning of the pandemic. Working on a children’s book for his daughter, as well as his first screenplay.
